I had been engaged and done an introduction of the families and also set a wedding date, but I knew I was making a huge mistake. At the time, I was so depressed and didn’t know how to tell my family I couldn’t go ahead. I had spoken to Pastor Femi multiple times, and he prayed with me that God will settle me. I had the courage with the support of my family to call off the wedding. My ex-fiancée’s mother in anger said that if I don’t marry her son, I would never marry.
Afterwards, I noticed a pattern of not having anybody interested in going into a relationship with me for years. If any man spoke to me, he would abruptly cut me off in less than 3 months; all discussions or friendships never exceeded 3 months. This pattern consistently happened until I realised it was a problem.
I started praying & Pastor Femi stood consistently with me in prayers;
During one of the prayer sessions with Pastor Femi, he prayed and broke the yoke of this negative pattern and even prophesied the timeline within which my husband will show up. To the glory of God, when I least expected, I met my husband in the same month Pastor Femi prophesied. Things happened very fast; in less than a year, we got married and still happily married to the glory God.
I had my first child exactly 10 months after our wedding as prophesied at our wedding by Pastor Femi.
I got pregnant again after a few years but had a miscarriage. I remember calling Pastor Femi wailing during the traumatic miscarriage: he prayed fervently with me and gave a word that God will fully restore the loss and turn my sorrow to abundant joy. He went ahead to prophesy the gender of the child and the circumstances surrounding where the child will be born.
God did not only restore my child as prophesied, the baby was born exactly 1 year from the day I had the miscarriage and was the same gender prophesied. God gave me beauty for ashes and the oil of gladness for the period of mourning I endured.
Also, I was going for a work trip and met Pastor Femi for prayers before I left. He gave a word that the favour of God would go with me. For the first time in my office, I was given money for the trip without having to reimburse. On the trip, one of my boss gifted me $1000, she even got 2 more people to gift me foreign currencies too. The favour of God really went with me. I give God all the glory for his faithfulness.
